Romo’s presence on T.O.

November 13, 2008

Hopefully with the possibility of Tony Romo’s come back this week that will ignite wide receiver Terrell Owens. Owens has not been a key part of the offense since Romo’s injury so look for Romo to get him involved quickly! The Cowboys need T.O. to get back on track and be a key part in this high flying offense!

T.O. remains positive

October 23, 2008

Through everything that the Cowboys have been through this past 2 weeks superstar wide receiver Terrell Owens remains confident. T.O. has proclaimed his efforts in making sure the Cowboys get back into championship form this week during practice! Look for T.O. to have a big game sunday and get back to being the playmaker the Cowboys have been looking for!

Romo defends Terrell Owens

October 2, 2008

When asked on Wednesday about the unhappiness of Terrell Owens because of his lack of happiness of not touching the ball enough last game Tony Romo took T.O. side. He understood where T.O. was coming from and said he would rather have a receiver who wants the ball then someone who doesnt. He was asked if he thought this was going to tear the team apart like he has with other teams and Romo quickly said i’d rather him want the ball then not. He is not the only one on the team who wants the ball and because of that these receivers and running backs and better then the average player!

Cowboys lose to Division Rival Redskins

September 30, 2008

Cowboys lost a nail biter to the Washington Redskins sunday afternoon 26-24. The Cowboys were beaten at their own game. With the Redskins making key long passes down the field late in the game the Cowboys were left with a hopeful onside kick that went out of bounds. Terrell Owens, Cowboys leading receiver, came out after the game complaining that he did not touch the ball enough and that the Cowboys would win if he had the opportunity to make more plays. Many people have had a problem with this because T.O. had the ball either thrown to him or handed to him 19 times during the game. It will be interesting to see the effects his remarks have on the team this coming week and if it leads to anymore controversy!

Keep an eye out for Cowboys red zone offense

September 25, 2008

Last week against the Packers the Cowboys had some trouble in the red zone. The red zone offense is a key area of there game plan that they have been working on this week in practice and look for the Cowboys to be more aggressive in those situations. Also, look for them to open up there offense a little more this week with more throws to other receivers as Terrell Owens is most likely to see alot of double coverage.

Romo shows he can overcome injury

Romo hit hard but not out

Romo hit hard but not out

This past weekend Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback Tony Romo took a tough hit to his face where he was left with a open cut to his chin and stitches. Romo showed his toughness after being hit by staying in the game and connecting down field with wide receiver Terrell Owens for a game breaking touchdown. With Romo showing his toughness i think it will show people that he is alot more then a celebrity, but a true tough quarterback!

Media surrounding the Dallas Cowboys 2008-2009 Football Season

September 5, 2008

I will be following the media surrpunding the Dallas Cowboys throughout this coming football season. The hype for the up and coming season that kicks off on Sunday is at a all time high. The cowboys are picked to be a Superbowl contender and have hopes in meeting that goal. This sunday they play the Cleveland Browns in week 1. With both teams expected to be playoff contenders the game should be very exciting and interesting. One aspect of the game that is going to be looked at is the play of Tony Romo and Terrell Owens. Both players were all star selections last year and are expected to start right where they left off last year. If the cowboys defense doesnt come ready to play and put pressure on the Browns offense the season of high hopes for the Cowboys could start off in a week 1 loss.
