Adam Jones will be back
November 19, 2008Owner Jerry Jones has announced that defensive back Adam Jones will return to the team after thanksgiving. The team missed Jones for a 4 game suspension that was a discipline action from the commissioner after a altercation in a dallas hotel. Look for Jones to be on his best behavior as he looks to help the Cowboys to the playoffs.

October 14, 2008The Cowboys have already had a rough week! Monday morning the Cowboys announced that quarterback Tony Romo will miss atleast 4 weeks and 3 games due to a broken pinkie finger on his throwing hand. The news came as a surprise to many as the injury happened in the first play of overtime in the loss to the Cardinals. That was only a piece of the bad news for the Cowboys as they learned today that cornerback Adam Jones has been suspended by the commissioner for his actions last week in a fight with his own bodyguard.

October 9, 2008Wednesday morning the Dallas Police were called to a Dallas Hotel where Adam Jones and his bodyguard got into a fight. Nothing more then a small altercation of misunderstanding happened between the two. The Cowboys and Owner Jerry Jones have commented that the yhave spoken to Jones and it is very unlikely that any suspension or fine will be issued to Jones.
Final Roster moves going into Week 1
September 6, 2008The Cowboys have announced today from Irvin, Texas that they have acquired Mike Jefferson as there much needed fourth receiver. Jefferson will make his debut against the Cleveland Browns tomorrow. This was a key acqusition because they needed another receiver to go along with there other playmakers at receiver. The Cowboys have also announced that Adam Jones will most likely be in the starting lineup in place of injuried Terence Newman. With both these moves tomorrows game should be very interesting in seeing how these two additions will help out both the offense and defensive game plans.
