The Cowboys are getting ready for there big game against Giants on sunday! Coming into the game the Cowboys have a couple concerns. Whether or not Brad Johnson starting at Quarterback is still up in the air, the health of tight end Jason Witten is still up in the air, and the small possibility that Tony Romo coming back to play is still undecided. Look for the Cowboys to make all three concerns a game time decision atleast to the public.

Defense, Defense, Defense
October 28, 2008With a big win over the Bucs last week the Cowboys are excited about there young cornerbacks. Mike Jenkins, Orlando Scandrick and Alan Ball are the youngsters filling in for the injuried Cowboys. With 2 of them never starting a game until last week and the other making only his 6th start the Cowboys are only looking up!

Cowboys are back on track!
October 27, 2008The Cowboys got back on the winning track sunday afternoon as they breat the Tampa Bay Bucs 13-9. The Cowboys have lost there last 3 out of 4 games and we desperate for a win. The defense of the Cowboys was the leading force behind the win. Leading down the field the Cowboys stopped the Bucs on a 4th and 5 try with only a minute left in the game. Not only did the Cowboys get back on track but the new addition of wide receiver Roy Williams got his first touchdown as a Cowboy! Look for the Cowboys to continue there passion on the defensive side of the ball as they face the New York Giants this coming sunday!

Coach Phillips taking over play calling
October 24, 2008Coach Wade Phillips will now be taking over the defensive play calling for the Cowboys. The announcement came after weeks of struggling on the defensive side of the ball. Owner Jerry Jones said that this is really no different from what has been going on and is not worried about it. Jones said that Phillips has been behind a major of the play calling so far and that this matter is being way overrated! It will be interesting to see how the players react to this announcement and also if there will be any tension between Coach Phillips and defensive coordinator Brian Stewart.

T.O. remains positive
October 23, 2008Through everything that the Cowboys have been through this past 2 weeks superstar wide receiver Terrell Owens remains confident. T.O. has proclaimed his efforts in making sure the Cowboys get back into championship form this week during practice! Look for T.O. to have a big game sunday and get back to being the playmaker the Cowboys have been looking for!

Coach Phillips job not in Jeopardy

has came out and said against all scrutiny saying that Wade Phillips job is not in jeopardy. Many people thought with the Cowboys latest stumble in the standings that the Phillips could possible be out the door. Phillips himself has came out and said that he in no way is worried about his job and that the Cowboys are only looking toward the Tampa Bay Bucs!

Cowboys lose big to Rams
October 20, 2008The Cowboys lost big to the St. Louis Rams 34-14 on sunday. It was bad enough not to have starting quarterback Tony Romo for the game but losing the last 3 of 4 is more of a devastation to “America’s team”. The Cowboys now look to move forward from this heartbreaking loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs this sunday. Look for the Cowboys to try to get Romo back on the playing field and to go back to their big time players to get them back on track as a team!

Romo says he is ready to play sunday
October 16, 2008Speculation around Cowboys camp is that quarterback Tony Romo is wanting to play this sunday against the St. Louis Rams. The news came out after Cowboys practice on tuesday afternoon. Romo injuried his pinkie finger on his throwing hand against the Cardinals last weekend and was expected to miss up to 4 weeks. Romo’s status for the game is not certain yet but keep tuned into Cowboys camp to see if the Cowboys will start their pro-bowl quarterback.

Roy Williams A Cowboy!
October 15, 2008The Cowboys announced tuesday before the deadline that they traded for Roy Williams of the Lions. The Cowboys gave up a 1st, 3rd, and 6th round pick for the wide out. This move looks like a desperate move by owner Jerry Jones to make this year the year the Cowboys win the Superbowl but i think this is a great move. With Williams experience and added talent to the lineup the Cowboys offense is that much more dangerous then it ever has been!

Romo Injuried and Jones Suspended
October 14, 2008The Cowboys have already had a rough week! Monday morning the Cowboys announced that quarterback Tony Romo will miss atleast 4 weeks and 3 games due to a broken pinkie finger on his throwing hand. The news came as a surprise to many as the injury happened in the first play of overtime in the loss to the Cardinals. That was only a piece of the bad news for the Cowboys as they learned today that cornerback Adam Jones has been suspended by the commissioner for his actions last week in a fight with his own bodyguard.
