Cowboys lose to Division Rival Redskins

September 30, 2008

Cowboys lost a nail biter to the Washington Redskins sunday afternoon 26-24. The Cowboys were beaten at their own game. With the Redskins making key long passes down the field late in the game the Cowboys were left with a hopeful onside kick that went out of bounds. Terrell Owens, Cowboys leading receiver, came out after the game complaining that he did not touch the ball enough and that the Cowboys would win if he had the opportunity to make more plays. Many people have had a problem with this because T.O. had the ball either thrown to him or handed to him 19 times during the game. It will be interesting to see the effects his remarks have on the team this coming week and if it leads to anymore controversy!

Keep an eye out for Cowboys red zone offense

September 25, 2008

Last week against the Packers the Cowboys had some trouble in the red zone. The red zone offense is a key area of there game plan that they have been working on this week in practice and look for the Cowboys to be more aggressive in those situations. Also, look for them to open up there offense a little more this week with more throws to other receivers as Terrell Owens is most likely to see alot of double coverage.

Cowboys are Number 1 Team in NFL

The Cowboys so far are the team to beat this season. Starting off the year 3-0 has put alot of attention on the Cowboys and how much of a Super Bowl contender they might be. With all sides of the ball play great “America’s Team” looks to get back to their reign in the NFL.

Cowboys Win!

Cowboys Win!

What a game! The Cowboys deafeated the Philadelphia eagles monday night with a 41-37 win.  With a strong win within the division the Cowboys looked very impressive. One key area of the game that the cowboys were happy with was the overcoming of injuries. Even though safety Roy williams broke his arm the Cowboys feel fortunate to get through week 2 with only one injury. The Cowboys have had a couple key injuries in the beginning of the season but were excited to get those injuried players back on the field monday night! Williams should be out a couple weeks with his broken arm but dont think he wont try to come back sooner as the Cowboys continue to win!

Week 2 Rivalry game

September 13, 2008

Rivalry Continues

Rivalry Continues

As Rob Phillips from the Dallas Morning News reports the week 2 matchup between the Eagles and the Cowboys is more then a game of rivarly. Its a game that brings two cities together where each teams fans can not stand the opponents team and fans. The Cowboys have held the upper hand in the conference for the last decade but last year was bumped from there reign in the NFC East when the New York Giants ran through the division and ended up with the Super Bowl. The Cowboys are looking to get back at the top of the division and with a win in week 2 against the much hated Eagles they can put themselves in a early race for first place in the NFC East. The game will be on Monday Night Football and will hopefully continue the path of great games within the division that so many people have seen and remembered over the past decade! Go Cowboys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
